Starting a large-scale project may seem overwhelming, which is why I divide the large project into smaller tasks to navigate you to the option that will suit your needs. we start with the general needs to form a layout, and then we add layers, such as materials, lighting, wall covering etc. one by one to get the complete design concept.

There is a tremendous advantage in hiring a personal service from an interior designer as opposed to getting free design services or designing by yourself. 

First, the project's total cost will net off against savings in time and money.  Those savings come in the form of actual discounts from suppliers and tradespeople, they may come in the form of preferred service given to designers, as they are returning customers or in saving yourself from making costly mistakes in planning or purchasing. 

Second, free design services is not comparable with a personal paid service. For example, when designing a kitchen, a kitchen company offering free design will let you choose materials and a general layout and present you with a (mostly generic) design. In contrast, I will design the layout according to how many people use it at the same time, who uses it and what for and so on. I will also consider the natural lighting and the most suitable material to increase lighting or to decrease glare. The context of the entire house and the way you enter the kitchen also have implication on the best design layout and materials. Since kitchen is one of the largest expenses, you want to make sure everything works for you.
